The part of AVI I am through is within a hospital where the hospital employees are apart of a union. The employees run rampant and do whatever they want because of the union but our director (who is also AVI) doesn't do anything about it. Its just a very unfair environment where you cannot reprimand your employees without getting into trouble essentially.
Being one of the largest auto import and export Ports on east coast, and growing. The company fails to promote or advance its pay rate has stated pre hire, to its employees. No employee evaluations or support for growing work load. Growth volume has larger totals and new contracts, if not completed it is you error not, upper management. The company’s profit is up but you will stay at the bottom. No Incentive, pay increase or motivation for employee to succeed.

Started out as a grill cook. Learned how to work in a positive atmosphere. Learned how to prepare food from scratch in general. Also found that the company has a concern for my well being outside of work.
Vacation time, free meals, weekends off.
Expensive healthcare, hard to find help.
