Overall Bayport Financial services is a good company that has helped me graduate and further my working experience. I got the opportunity to do my Work Intergrated Learning with them, later stayed as a Sales Agent few months down the line was given an opportunity to solely build up a new product with success (became a Sales Consultant) a year later got an opportunity to be a Host to date.
In the morning I would always feel the need to motivate stuff before our mission starts [ The hunt for the companies Target ]. You would be surprised to know that every agent would adopt a trend...a certain level of attitude towards sales, it would be like is on the same dream. i love sales, I love selling, why? cause i know i'm amazing and i'm willing to submit my mind to a dream...a company dream...a mission
Working at bayport is fun if you know how to do sales and you have to love what you do it other for you to enjoy making sales
You have to know how to sell yourself treat clients accordingly mantain good relationship with your clients in other to keep them Put yourself in their shoes and understand where they are coming from
*exactly like wall street an organized mess *25 agents report for a motivation session in the morning. *after that I channel them to companies and potential clients, *stay behind with the new agents and teach them the ropes and services clients. *send hourly performance reports to branch manager and area manager. *correspond with agents who are out on the field. *delegate some responsibilities to my new agents, to teach them customer service skills. *check for clients for the next day channeling. *follow up on applications that are awaiting approval from head office. *liaise with clients who have applications pending.
u cant stop learning
its a life style not a job so there is little family time
Typical day at work was always busy, had to meet daily targets.I learned alot for example drawing up contracts, handling work flow, spreadsheets,i personally think the management is at point i had no what so ever compliant about them.I really enjoyed working with my co worker, its was an enviroment that was fum to be around.Well hardest pary of the job was getting all the work done before going home,i enjoyed the morning sessions we had altogether.
long hours and travelling
