I have learned that no what matter happen I must stay happy all the time. The hardest part was to work on multiple tasks and never rest. The good thing is that the benefits of the company is very good but bad thing is that there's too much risk

Hardwork

Was hard work and I learned alot interacting with people from all walks of life was amazing for me. The staff was very nice aswell. The hardest part of the day was rushing at the end of the day . The most enjoyable part of the day was when advising the client when they seeked advice and helping them.

Is good place to be and you can learn more but problem is favoritism, is not easy to be promoted and get paid while you train within the company but external applicant can be given that and you be forced to train him or her

Productive and best working condition

Cashbuild is a number one retail company in South Africa. Good salaries, productive and very professional. It's the best company to work for it. Its treat it's employees in very best manner. And every employee get dividends of shares every 6 months regardless when did you join the company.

I'm a general worker at Cashbuild, it is a good company to work at. It has built my knowledge about hardware and broaden my mind. It's a very competitive company. It also practices the OHASA process, so that we can know about our safety at work.

Good place to work at, I started as a end control back then I was loading goods for customers. After 7 months I was promoted to cashier the next year receiving supervisor. I took me me 2 years to be a trainee Manager. I was fun working for them. Given a chance I will work for them again.

Typical day at work - always busy
What I learned - new accounting package ( SAP)
Management - Very fair and patient
Workplace culture - all races and all work well together
Hardest part of job - Ensuring all information was correct when I hand the
work over to the accountant
Most enjoyable part of job - I got to assist other staff when they were
behind to meet dead lines.

Working at cashbuild was challenging human energy but with short breaks.The other issue was the business operating periods which were demanding a lot of time and leaving you with less time to do your personal chores.

As management your day basically consist of doing floorwalks ensuring the store stay neat and clean, making sure all customers are attended to. You need to drive sales and ensure you reach your targets
