Very busy but fun place to work. It required allot of your time.

Good company to work for. Gained allot of experience with handling perishables and procedure of moving cargo to USA FMC and AMS filing, ppecb inspections and overborder. Work culture was good, we had open door policies with management and all staff worked as a team. Helping each other and tending to others desk when away from work. The hardest part was the system which took up allot of time that could have been used more efficiently. The accounts side as well, system in place I feel could have been better. i struggled with the time although I grasped the system, simplistic things were made difficult.

Pros

Good salary and benefits. Brilliant actually. It was close to home.

Cons

Long hours, no overtime unless requested and file count met for that month. No take home laptop available.

it ws afun place to be

i enjoyed being there the bosses were nice and because i like being sarounded by many people,we worked as a team,i like team work a lot more especial at tea time we would chat and staff,we have to arrive very early but i didn't mind i got used to that

Productive and Fun Work Place

Ceva is a good company to work with, it is like home away from home. The only problem is that they are outsourcing the accounts department to India. If you are in operations you should be fine as they train staff and the managers are people oriented.

Learning

Great for a an intern wanting to get a start into the working environment. I learnt more than what i knew when i arrived but felt that there was more to be learnt but unfortunately that dint happen due to red tape within the company.

Hard worker, worked under pressure. Love sorting out queries. Framing various entries, monitoring staff capability to work without supervision. Train staff on systems. Assist Senior management

small company very strick

Enjoy doing overhead accounts, but move on for new challenge , a company with good control on overhead accounts director needs to approve all payments

I was working in a store room alone.It was a challenging company to be in for It was freezing environment.I was working from 8:00 to 17:00 .I was doing my job as well as my supervisor job. I enjoyed every moment of working there for the job was keeping me on my toes.I learned to be adaptable and work under pressure.

I value this company a lot as I gained all my experience from it and i also go to know the corporte world throught this company, management always encourages us to learn/ multi skil which will be good to us as employees.

Productive, stressful and fun workplace

The comrade between the finance staff makes coming to work enjoyable. Even though at times it's stressful the friendship we share makes the stress more bearable. The hardest part I've found is trying to sort out errors that have been made and not knowing how those errors were made. Once resolved it's an achievement all on it's own, what makes it even more so is when everyone pulls together to help sort out the problem. It's not just one person getting the credit we all do as it's a combined effort. There are some frustrating elements, however it's not in our control so we have to live with it, comes from working in a corporate company, they all have their own issues. Ultimately I enjoy working here.

Going home at 4.30 in the afternoon

Cons

Being limited to what you can do, due to new systems being put in place.
