Professional Nurse (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 6 May 2022
I learned a lot from city of cape town ,I didn't have clinic experience, when I started by them ,and they offered a lot of courses ,and today I am able to consult ,diagnose and treat the client ,about the hardest part of the job ,is when the client refusing the treatment, and as a clinician you trying to convince him or her because you know the complications of that, other than that I enjoyed every moment at city of cape town

Warm and welcoming environment
Professional Officer (Current Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 20 March 2022
Working at the City of Cape Town, depending on which department you’re in , can be quite demanding, especially if you’re in the engineering/tenders/projects space. Timelines can be quite tight with pressures from management to deliver on them even when sufficient resources are not available. That being said, people are always willing to assist and guide you through any process which you might not be familiar with. Colleagues at any level of the organization would willingly offer their time and assistance when requested. A good place to work if you’re starting out, with good work being recognised

Great place to work.
Administration Clerk (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 18 March 2022
It's a great place to work, if you looking for security. Getting promoted is hard, you would either have to wait for someone to resign or to go on retirement.

Hard work but fair compensation
Administrator (Former Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 17 March 2022
Salary and benefits help to offset some of the difficulties associated with the job. It can be stressful at times, because the clients are distressed most of the time and seek to air their frustrations at the nearest available person.
