Very family orientated, great job satisfaction, CP valued your contribution, absolutely managed with respect, could not justify any complaints after 32 years of service. Thoroughly enjoyed our great conferences and State meetings annually and the ongoing support offered from management.
The Company provides good benefits as far as Insurance and Time off. They moved their HR to Mexico in 2017.. and that's just the beginning of where the problems started.. The company has yearly layoffs, good people, right before they get to year 5 mark, with the company- and this is ALL divisions of the company. "They are big on preaching their Ethical Values" But they do not follow them.. There are several who have been with Colgate including management, for several years, these people do not follow the rules. Management play favorites with certain people because they like them, vs employee's who outperforms them. They bill and ship thru a third party and there are several errors, on the regular. You are always putting out fires with the third party and the customer. Their software is archaic.

Great company to work for. The people are what makes the company a great place. Code of ethics is highly driven, and promotions are available throughout the company.
Pros
Pet food is a growing industry.
Cons
The ecommerce sector is impacting brick and mortar negatively.
typical day at work includes: develop and maintain strong customer relationships, increase product distribution and shelf space and meet speed to market KPI’s. Effectively manage a team of merchandisers and make sure the team deliver exceptional merchandising services and sales growth within the territory. Manage co-op budgets and report on ROI results. Hardest part of the job was the repetitive tasks and the most enjoyable was managing and organising field activity.
Delivering sales objectives, net sales growth goals, and new channel distribution expectations, along with budget planning, inventory control, and retail merchandising operations. Engage in sales negotiations and utilize communication skills to learn client needs and recommend successful solutions to further establish effective relationships with customers, distributors, and dealers.
absolutely a great company to work for, and a lot of great support behind the products that I sell.
Pros
car, tuition, bonus
Cons
