Self motivation needed

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
This is a very relaxed environment so self motivation is highly recommended. The hr manager needs to be taught about professionalism when addressing issues especially involving employees.

Pros

Performance vouchers

Cons

Long hours

Bad environment

Nothing is good about that place. There’s a lot of uneducated people which leads them to be threatened by all the young educated people joining the team. That they might take their jobs

Great place to grow, bad place for balance

Great opportunities to grow. Good salary. They invest in your development and provide great opportunities. Most of the people are really nice. On the flip side working there comes with high stress and poor work life balance. Be prepared to work very long hours. Systems need to be modernised and EQ not always present in company. Good MD (firm, fair and compassionate ) in 2021, and some of his Exco team.Carrot and stick approach by management ...but the stick has a sharp blade at the end.

Pros

Nice people, global company, sales development

Cons

Long hours, high stress, poor systems management

Amazing culture of caring

Truly a company that lives it’s values, maybe a little to much though. From my perspective non performance is not dealt with effectively which creates frustration on those who are absolutely amazing at their jobs.

Pros

Shares and global exposure

Cons

Corporate ladder and career succession constrained my lack of middle Mng.

Great working environment with challenging objectives.

A typical day started with reviewing first the urgent issues with all internal stake holders as well as any urgent external customer requirements. Attend Sales and Operations Planning meetings with Senior Management and also review internally within the department any issues related to procurement and supplier management. Managing a full blown SAP implementation as a Manufacturing Lead for 3 sites and also be responsible for the Planning and Procurement functions of the CP Plant at Dammam was a huge challenge that lasted for two long years.

Pros

Challenging and at the same time engrossing work, very friendly and accessible colleagues and senior management, great food in Canteen, enjoyable after office ping pong matches

Cons

Pay scale differences between local and international hires, No career plan for local hires.

Orders Processing and Customer Service

My typical day, was basically the same everyday nothing more or less, however it was a good experience working there at the time, the people and management are all good people and they have also an open office policy which is great and they give you all the training and tools to make your work comfortable and easy for you. The hardest part of my job was that I had to travel and getting up very early to get to work, but it was worth the trip, because I did enjoy my work and the people I worked with was amazing and always available if you need assistance

Pros

Company was to far

Cons

Long hours traveling

Good working relationships

A productive and well achieved objectves. Accquring skills that would make me prosper in my career To have good working relationship with my manager. Management should consist of people who have intention of grooming and growing employees with reasonable trainings Team work is excellent and one should be provided with an opportunity of growing on his/her own. Hardest part of the job would be when there is no good working relationships with colleagues and managers Having been able to achieve more objectives that the ones set out to.
