An organisation that is lacking strategic leadership from executive management in SA.

Recognition and reward was never forthcoming.Lack of support and leadership from executive management.Lack customer centricity.Staff turnover is at the upper threshold which is inclusive of senior management.Not aligned with market pricing and subsequently do not secure business due to lack of competitivenes.

It's very nice to work with the kind people of db schenker I'm looking forward to work with you guys again

I hope you guys will let me know when there is a vacancy at db schenker you guys only hired me to move the stock from the old building to the new warehouse and I have done with precise accuracy

Db schenker

DB schenker working hours 8 to 5 with 15 mins tea and an hour lunch and a second tea break for 15 mins. Working environment is relaxed as work dont pile up but they dont allow u to sit to rest if there is no work.

A very good company 1 could wish to work for.

At DB Schenker I learned that working as team is powerfull source of good production as well as housekeeping.we respect each other from day 1..our management very supportive to their employees.

Its always interesting to work at this environment at Schenker

You are always learning new tactics to up yourself and operating standard. Nothing hard about the job as all training are provided.The most enjoyable thing is the team work around.

Worked hard & learned a lot in my time there

Manage incoming air/fwd, liaise with global offices, airlines. Negotiate rates with offices, transport companies Constant communication with client Communication skills most important Learnt from B/bulk to RIB. Customs stops/CBCU/ trademark stops Learnt that honesty is essential to sucsess Loved my work. It was exciting every day Loved the people I worked with

Working at DB Schenker was the best place for me.It wasn't unpleasant to work there and I was always looking foward to another day.Since I left,it has been difficult to find a job which is even slightly as pleasant to work at.The people I work with was not just my collueges,the became my family!

Is the collect the cargo from the airport and take it back to the hub.

I got code 10 with valid prdp . I would like to joint the team at DB Schenker which I think I will in joy there again. I would do delivery as well .

Productive and work experience enhancing

It was my first job in the supply chain industry and I found it worthy as I learned alot both in the warehouse and sea freight departments. The year experience came in handy and left the company with experience that I'm willing to share with other companies as the offers come.

Keeping db schenker on top off all suppliers

We always strive to do our best and please our customers always suppl6ing on time is our moto and satisfying the staff .I have been with supply from the start and seeing it build up till now I am very proud of my company

Very Productive company

There are good opportunities to advance your a career. Management is very supportive of your ideas and suggestions. Telecommuting is permitted, flexible schedule. The company offers good benefits, and also provide additional training to continue learning new skills. You get to work with some great people from all over the world.

Learnt a lot there

This is where I got my experience as a Vehicle tracker. The hardest part was when you are trying to track a vehicle but it keeps losing signal. I really enjoyed keeping hijackers away from the our vehicles

Long Hours & Little Salary

Working permanent night shifts with no overtime and the salary is very low for the hard work completed. There is no promotional salary increases and some management employees have no relevances to be managers

db schenker has a healty environment for the employees, the management has a good & open relation with the employeesI wish I could change the other organization to be like db schenker.if I can get an opportunity to go back and work in that company I will grab it without any delays

I was employed to load trucks but I ended up learning a lot of things,like data capturing,how to receive and despatch consignment,do a routes planning

Logistics and transportation

To work at DB schenker was a blessing to me, because through schenker i have gain more experience in most of all logistics and transportation. I have learn lot excluding controlling drivers prior to deliver, supervising of staff and sorting cargoes, dispatching and receiving of cargoes. i have work closely with all management and i was even trusted employee because i was having good relation with all management. Company was following health and safety rules that make this company good and safe to work at. I was working as an in-house controller were i deal will clients direct, that make this job hard but interesting at the sometime because i have to make sure that i pleased client at all times. The last day of my work and my job that i enjoyed so much is when i was told that i m best employee, that i was told by my the client who happen to renew contract with a company because the way i built relationship with them and able to fix every issues that they can bring to my attention.
