On Site Imports Controller (Former Employee) - Isando, Gauteng - 5 February 2019
The best employees were always over looked and the worst have all the leads and management as a whole. Never got paid as a heavy wheel mechanic but was one since day 1 for 13 years. Where's my back pay? Laughable that I'll ever see a dime
Pros

Cons
Employee cliques. You need to clean house on Management and HR. Micromanage good employees.

The management was very caring and supportive. They treated us equally. Although we had to work long hours sometimes because of too much work, DSV was the best place to be. It was home

Import Controller , invoicing clerk , (Current Employee) - Cape Town, Western Cape - 30 November 2017
Checking Unpacks of containers at Depots, arranging deliveries . I've learned that not everybody is your friend , some of them pretend to be or some is just using you ( knowledge ) to get to the top... Management , always delegating & takes all the credit . workplace is fun at times especially lunch times , nice to socialize with colleagues . hardest part would be a task that is giving to you which clearly you know nothing what's going on that you have figure it out yourself . my most enjoyable part is learning new things everyday...
Pros
Staff Functions, free food and drinks.
Cons
Traffic

Productive and fun company culture
AIR IMPORTS FORWARDING CONTROLLER (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, GP - 7 January 2015
A typical day at work starts just before 8am and basically ends off at home late at night.
I have learned so much from this company and owe every single thing I know about the Airfreight industry to them. I have also learned a lot about myself and my personality and moreover I have grown as a person and became stronger.
The hardest part of the job is the long hours required as I have to work from home for hours.
The overall culture of the company is really good and fun for youth.
Pros
Great company culture
Cons
Working long hours after work
