Working hours are relatively flexible and you have work-life balance. A great perk!

Much focus on client engagement which is great! Clients are generally very satisfied with the services rendered. The clients are also interesting and open to new collaboration and opportunities.

There is room for improvement in respect of the organisational culture in the company. It would be great for management to place more emphasis on this if they wish to retain their staff.

They very nice at the beginning. Promising you all sorts of things. When you in the job, the trainer treats you like an idiot. The managers don't care. You are stressed from day one. If the manager cant deal with you or don't like you, they do their utmost to get you out of the team. No correspondence, no communication. Team managers are a laugh. No etiquette, no manners. Lots of favouritism and if they don't like you, then you're screwed. When it comes to increases, they only give to those that they favour. Most of the time you don't even get work to do, but you are responsible for your own stats.
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, no prospects of promotion, they don't like giving increases.

The whole working environment is robotic. Management pretends to care about their employees, but throw them under the bus every chance they get. Management blames employees for everything that goes wrong, yet the employees cannot act without instructions from Management. Employees are constantly "evaluated" yet Management does not get "evaluated". Associates are not paid on the same scale, although they all perform the same work. There are associates who have not been admitted as a LP yet, who earn more than others with years of experience. They have a so called "dress-code", yet the shorter the dress.... Employees are encouraged to come up with new ideas and then Management takes credit for these ideas with the clients. This is a disgusting toxic place!

Really loved my time at Exigent. Very much at the forefront of Alternative solutions for the legal filed. They are professional and hardworking but at the same time provide flexibility and a balance to life. Management are good and allow you to make decisions and grow with those decisions if your willing to make them. The moaners are the ones typically not performing who try to drag others and the business around them down to their level rather than work hard to achieve what other successful people have. i would recommend to any individual to join this company.

Overall the actual work is okay, there are fun times and there are bad times and it depends largely on your personality and how well you get on with other women from various backgrounds as they are in the majority at the company.

The main downfall, as I see it, is that quite a few people who do not have the proper educational qualifications or training who work their way up into management positions. A lot of people bring in their family and friends (much more than I have seen at any other company I have worked at) and if people in management don't like you, for whatever petty reason, it is difficult to advance. As for the work itself, one can pick up some extra skills along the way and there are some training opportunities but the salary is hardly worth the amount of stress one has to deal with.
Pros
Easy job
Cons
Stressful environment

Complete and utter segregation amongst staff. Not sufficient training and staff not helpful or friendly. Complete disregard for the basic employment laws and does not look after the well being of their staff, with regards to working conditions.

I enjoyed Exigent but there is absolutely no job security. Its a good job for a start for new graduates but the experience is not much relevant provided that they hire mostly law graduates. The experience is not helpful
Pros
Good salary
Cons
Long hours and micro management

Productive and very informative. I have learnt a vast amount and this has had a positive impact on my career. It is a pleasure working for them as management always takes good care of their staff.
Pros
Good team building functions.
Cons
Learn something new everyday.
