I have learned a lot from this company regarding the security services, I was send sent to many training courses and development courses. It was fun working there when I come out of their security training course that was run like a army base at the East Rand. The management was very strict but fare to all of the guards. I still follow their management style and I have achieve a lot through it
My first security experience gained
After Hour visits
Its not a good job actually especially when its holiday times, you have to stay. The hardest thing is when everyone is looking down on you due to low wages. Some of the managers can understand the reason of your sadness and try to console but many don't. I have leant honesty in the industry because if you're not, including bribes and theft you will go to jail and ruin the rest of your life
Stable pay date
Long hours less wage
You get a chance to work in different departments which add more experience in you as an individual.
You are given the load you are supposed to do for the day whereby you work 8 hours a day, Management is expecting procedures followed and team assist.
If u finish before time you leave.
Long hours are paid for overtime
Don't enjoy working night shift and long straining hours. Only off days after two weeks of work where as you work night shift leave work the Saturday morning and have to be at work on Monday morning
long working hours no overtime
standing most of the time working
Company always treated you with respect and dignity, there was room for improvement and growth. They gave me a chance to share my individual knowledge and there was room for suggestions and they always tried to implement them.
We always had the opportunity to be part of anything that's happening within the company
It was a good working environment where I got exposed to clients and helping them with their needs in general. I liked the exposure to the external world
Its an enjoyable work place i do travel a lot and i learn many things like places around Johannesburg, and i managed to be brave in dangerous oppositions. My management its well balanced they manage things accordingly but as they are also people they have their bad times. My co-workers i quite friendly towards me as we are united by working together as one.My hardest part of the job is that the are times we find ourselves in bad position as we can be attacked by criminals. The most enjoyable part of the job is that you can make sure that you work on your schedule and in that way you can be fast and knock off early and when i work on Sunday i get my pay on hand the one i was working for on Sunday.

I love to meet different people from all around the world and it's very nice. I learned a lot of things such as different people and learn more about their cultures as well as the language they speak. The management were very good and kind, they would teach us how to approach a person you don't know and try to help the as much as you can. My co-workers I was very good with them and also they were very kind too. I personally didn't have the hardest time at work, I loved it every moment. At times I would work overtime whenever I'm off for three days. I don't remember absent myself from work or had a fight or argue with any person.
We used to have free lounch at work especially on Christmas day evry year
When I start afternoon shift and everything is up to date then you just go out and do road checks. I learned how to supervise and manage over 100 staff members. The management at the branch was great Good people to work with. When it comes to a armoured vehicle standing with a system problem and I must fixed it especially when I don't know what the problem might be then I must start trace think and do. When my manager go on leave then I take over.
When we doing a good job then they buy as lunch
morning shift must be off at 13h00 but if there alot to do then you might go home at 18h00
Extremely productive and going an extra mile on daily basis. Solving problems for both clients and officers daily. Perseverance and understanding cultural ethics. The most hardest part is when you really tried to help on time but fail because of company processes. The most enjoyable part is when you get a compliment from either a client or co-workers. The word " thank you very much Mr Phiri" always brought a broad smile on my face and made me to do more!
No lunch unless you get a chance
Long extra hours is normal in security industry everywhere
It can get hectic when there are deadlines to be met, but the support between departments make s it worth while
Attending to employee queries and capturing data on VIP Attention to detail Liasing with customer services managers to deal with tackle HR issues.
