A small company with a opportunity to improve diversity.
Marketing Intern (Former Employee) - Midrand, Gauteng - 12 November 2019
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedHilti is a good company with all the right structures. Where it lacks is diversity within upper echelon management. They prefer to hire expats in management and not South Africans. The career path is not clearly defined if you are a new graduate. As it involves you working through all the business units, but no proper timelines.

Toxic Environment
Account Manager (Former Employee) - Midrand, Gauteng - 21 February 2022
If you are looking for a company that cares about its employees (atleast in RSA) based on their skin colour look no further, an example would be that you would remain stagnant whilst others around you progress, imagine being told you’re an expensive employee for being forced to sell overpriced products that havent sold in 3 years and you are a failure because you havent sold these products yet your efforts have resulted in the minor sale of these products after a 3 year absence. Every perk they provide will be used against you so beware these are not perks but rather tools to invade your privacy.
Pros
Mental Health stress provider

Logistic Controller (Former Employee) - Midrand, GP - 5 September 2015
.i used to enjoy every single day while i was at Hilti cause i intent to invest love in whatever i m doing.
i learn a lot at Hilti their culture four core principles,Integrity,Honesty,Teamwork and Commitment that was a driving force to our pmp contract.
i worked with most friendly co workers in every department.
Management were so supporting as its a chain if subordinates are good also the line manager has contributed towards you achievement so its collective development.
hardest part its was during my two weeks from employment when the co worker was suppose to go on leave and i havent settle much to the setup however it was a good learning curve i indeed enjoy my stay.
Pros
once a week we used to have free lunches
Cons
