Unfortunately I am not feeling well about Hilton Hotel Durban since I was unfairly dismissed because of telling management about my feelings , from the way they treated staff
Worked at the pool, and as anywhere in the hospitality industry: when its good, its good if not great! When its bad, its bad but ya choke it up and get to the next day. Working at a pool environment there are seasons in weather so as long as you learn to save when you need to, youll get through those winter months no problem
Spring and Summer. great staff
some of fall and winter. "cutting the floor" could be worked on, based on business
I worked for the Hilton as a server for many years. It's one of the best serving jobs I've ever had. However I grew tired of late hours and drunk patrons. Great money, great benefits if it fits your lifestyle.
Hilton has been the best place to work as a server that I've ever encountered. Lots of career advancement opportunities. Great benefits. Focused on work life balance for all of its team members. I love being there.
Work life balance, flexibility with scheduling, benefits

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Very busy and a lot of work. Taught me how to excel in a restaurant position. Management can play favorites but they're very nice. Team feels like a family. The most enjoyable part is there's lots of regulars.
Discounted food and hotels
Wonderful team, added advantage is the lunches. The leaders are really thoughtful and flexible. They are patient and guide you well. Its important that everyone is cheerfull in this company

I love to work at Hilton. It is a great place to work. I would recommend anybody who wants to build their career and get good financial support. Management takes good care of the team members.
Great place to have different outlets to work in and make all different types of pay. But horrible management.
I can't say the management was good at all, we had new managers all the time and they were not fair to how they treated their employees with all the same equivalence or respect. We were yelled at like everyday because we were never doing anything right in their eyes. Even though I made great money for a summer job, years of doing it over really made me rethink if all of the treatment was worth it. You are forced to give up your holidays like the 4th of July because they always have big parties to celebrate for the guests. But you feel very controlled overall. And if they want you to help with a different department like banquets or work on the beach or by the pool, you have no choice. You are forced to work in areas out of your job description and it's miserable and the pay is based on where you are working.
money, great friends, great views, learn a lot from your experience
bossed around, controlled, yelled at a lot, treated like peasants
Great employees and work environment! I learned customer service experience as well as how to collaborate with others. The culture was great and so was management! The hardest thing about the job was making sure all of the team was on the same page and helping serve customers the best that we could.
