High pressure company

I was at HNTB for a short period of time. The work was very interesting, but I worked sixty hours weeks for most of the time I was there. All overtime was paid and they are a generous employer.

Poor Management

I heard good things about HNTB but this office is not friendly. No one talks to you and you do grunt work. The management team seems preoccupied with themselves and doesn't even say hi when walking by you.

great company

nice people, great culture. workload is good. great work life balance. I wish they were more flexible on hybrid of remote wok but they are very strict about showing up in the office daily

Fun and good learning experience

learned a lot at this internship and thought it was a good first starting job. I learned a lot, from the trainings that were held by my supervisor. I was briefed on the current projects and everyone was really friendly.

Corporate nepotism at its finest

If you're not the friend or relative of a director or manager, you'll never get anywhere but out the door here. I've seen many people wholly unqualified to do their positions get hired and promoted here.

Great company culture with a strong sense of mission and values

This is highly collaborative, respectful work environment. The HR team is top-notch with consistent development opportunities and responsive, engaged leadership. The COE's are truly that - excellent - and enable me to serve the business with well-developed tools and processes. Being embedded with the business means the opportunity to learn the industry while adding value as People SME. HR has a seat at the table here and is a respected contributor.

Good company to work for, very organized and established. Good benefits and compensation. Lots of company events to promote culture. Lots of positions with FDOT GEC contracts.

What is the best part of working at the company?HNTB is comprised of the industry's best! I was based in Los Angeles but professionals who worked out of various locations across the country came to our office and the company's excellence extends across the country. Leadership is serious and well respected and amazing. Lifelong professionals. HNTB's pursuit of potential team members as well as their pursuits to win contracts is no joke. These people do NOT PLAY! EVERYONE here is top notch and I was so impressed on the daily to witness how each process was strategically developed, perfected, implemented and followed by all. This team's proven success record speaks for itself. The sky was always the limit and it was a true privilege to work with the best.!!! Having HNTB on your resume definitely sets you apart from the rest.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?HNTB has various areas of expertise. Good place to work

HNTB’s intern program does a good job getting employees who fit the company vision to come and work for them. Great learning experience and friendly team regardless of the department as well.

Very little training and the pace is extremely fast.

Great company but the marketing department is in upheaval: high turnover which leads to dysfunction. Poor training of the strengent practices and methods that are required.

Amazing Company

This company stands for so many great things. They value their employees and the their time. We complete a lot of amazing infrastructure projects that are truly one of a kind. Laid back but very productive staff.

Laid Back and Fun Workplace

Everyone here is very laid back and cool. You get to learn a lot depending on the project that you are on. Mangers and coworkers are willing to guide you if you have any questions

Great place

Somewhat of a steep learning curve when it came to timesheets and expenses but overall a great company. Lots of offices around the US. If you get the chance take a job with this company. 5 stars.

Nice office space, great Engineers

Pretty structured and linear company. Standard consulting firm with intelligent Engineers (depending on department). Room for overtime, but ultimately a stepping stone place.
