Good people, work is okay

People are great. Couldn’t ask for better coworkers. Everyone is helpful and they’re the reason I’ve stayed. The work is extremely demanding though. Many late nights, overtime hours, and little reward. The pay is subpar at best, especially in the New York City are where the cost of living is outrageous.

Beautiful offices

Intense environment but great place to work. Office is very well laid out and the management is very professional and knows how to run a company. Sometimes long hours but generally very good work life balance.

Good work place

I've had the privilege of working at Langan, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The company places a strong emphasis on employee development and well-being. The management team is supportive, approachable, and truly values our input. They provide opportunities for growth and encourage a healthy work-life balance.

Great People and Culture

Excellent company with solid values. Great work culture that supports diversity and lots of opportunity for professional development. Fantastic benefits: 401K, heath and dental, weekly snacks and lunches to boost morale. Supportive of a healthy work/home life balance. Highly recommend!

Terrible Work-Life Balance

Absolutely horrendous work-life balance. When work is slow, be prepared to spend over 40 hours a week working, trying to make sure you're billable. Stuck in a constant cycle of looking and asking for more work, but never getting enough. Have a social life/family? Be prepared to kiss it goodbye because you'll be dedicating your entire life to your job.

Good people, good pay, lack of diverse work

Langan prides itself on being a "developer's consultant". During covid, the company has been able to accelerate due to demand for commercial infrastructure. That boom seems to be slowing down in several markets. The lack in diversity of clientele is having a significant impact on several divisions in the company.

Low staff, intern program is not great

This branch had a lot of people quick and thus was very understaffed. They stick their interns with project managers that are way too overwhelmed so typically they dont have time to train their interns or fully be there for them.

What is the best part of working at the company?Not a good place to work junior or mid level professionals. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Lack of resources and no support from management. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Stressful. Junior level employees are a disposable commodity. What is a typical day like for you at the company?16 hour days spent marketing and trying to develop new work in a saturated market with no corporate resources.

The company's not bad, not great. They provide lots of free food. I heard good and bad things from other employees, which is probably true no matter where you work

Great work life balance

Depending what team you work for it Can be a great experience. I love my team and my boss. Health Benefits are average. If you need time off they are very flexible.

Fast-paced and cool projects, but work-life balance is dodgy

Unless work is your life, I would advise to think carefully before thinking about joining this company. The company is fast paced and often really puts the client first in front of anyone else. Fifty hour weeks are not uncommon here and at the staff level you may be stuck doing rather mundane tasks. Career progression is also a bit slow for most.

Good company, lots of benefits

I’ve met some of the most talented people ever during my time at Langan. It's also given me the opportunity for both lateral and upward career development.

Get to work on exciting projects but the consulting industry can be stressful at times. You have to make sure you’re billable at all times and have to work within budgets

Good place to work! Lots of projects

My time at Langan was very good. There very plenty of work and you would stay busy always. Benefits were great and overtime is considered. Good work life balance.

Many opportunities to grow

I have worked at Langan since I graduated college and never looked back. In my time at Langan, the company has grown tremendously which means many opportunities to find your niche and grow with the firm. High expectations and demanding, fast-paced work environment that are matched by generous compensation and a great company culture that continues to get even better.

Overall a productive place with great culture and people to work with.

Great company culture with great people to work with. There is many learning opportunities. I find it hard to get work sometimes when work slow down which is normal. Growth can be slow as there doesnt seem to be a proper training program.

Typical Workplace

Working on high profile projects but compensation is low and not great work-life balance. Management can be good and there are a lot of diversity initiatives - but not much action.
