Collaborative Environment

Great place for candidate attorneys to apply theory in practice. Though Legal-Aid focuses on criminal work, a request to gain Civil Litigation experience may be lodged.

Heavy work load but wonderful article experience and preparation for Board Exams.

Wonderful, great institution to work for. Great exposure to south African courts and the judicial system and how it works. Good educative exposure and preparations for Board Exams.

Great place for professional and personal growth

Great place to practice as a Candidate Attorney. You get to grow professionally as well as personally. By the time you finish, your Litigation Skills will be impeccable and yourself confidence and communication skills will be bettered. You get thrown into the deep but you do learn how to swim, and as soon as you learn, you swim really well.

"Friendly and supportive staff" Alot of training! Totally loved it!!

The staff was amazing, as Candidate attorney I was at the top of my game in court because LASA provides so much training, you know exactly what to do.

The working environment and dynamic

The organisation is one focused on the assistance of the disadvantaged and incapable margins of society. The practise of humanity and empowerment is the daily practise, along with provision of high quality legal services. The environment is highly interactive and upbeat. The is a strong sense of comradery and family with each member of the team assisting and supporting the team in order to achieve the bigger objective, providing a high quality legal service.

Leak of leadership

Time management it's very important in a courier company, respect and hardworking. It was a learning curve as it was my first real job. The staff was very helpful, well trained . The management of the company trusted me well because of hard working.

Challenge your thinking and mindset and constently learning

Worked long hours to get your work done on time. Learnt so much with the office experience. Mostly enjoyed the court experience and the confidence it brought to handle matters and speak in court.

Case discusions daily,gained court exprience,my co workers are down to earth olny few who are hard to work with,it is hard to prepare finalised files since is something you did in court and you cant recall everything.I enjoy court in action and also to do my civil woek
