Exploitation of employees
Being a hard worker and doing your job well does not pay off. You will not be rewarded for your work, instead you will be exploited. Management will not respect your boundaries, and you are expected to work overtime for no extra pay. Be prepared to have no work-life balance. Do not raise your concerns, as you will be victimised and marginalised. They will deliberately try to fault-find your work, isolate you and call you “aggressive” for having an opinion.Employee in Cape Town, Western Cape

Disconnected company culture. well it sucks. Bunch of people who know too much. Things change daily and you are blamed for being unclear. Poor management and complete lack of planning Consultant in South Africa

An unfortunate experience
On the outside the company seems young, dynamic and bound for growth. The reality when joining is that it is a miss managed mess with outdated systems and described by employees as a sinking ship. The other reviews say plenty about the culture and management which all remain true. Nepotism, favouritism and steam rolling run unabated. If you are looking for a fulfilling and stable job, i suggest you look elsewhere. There are no growth opportunities, innovation channels nor growth mindset. Employees have been slowly disappearing for months. Don't be the next to disappear into the ether. Senior Consultant in Johannesburg, Gauteng

Dream Job at a great Fintech Company
I worked at LifeCheq from 2016 - 2019 and based on my personal experience as a Consultant. The company was ever-evolving so there were opportunities for growth that would not have immediately existed upon joining. The Culture was conducive to creating friends and mentors with lots of potential to get involved based on one's career's interests. I got to work with top thought clients in several industries through the help of smart, collaborative, willing to share managers. The experience/exposure that I got from working with incredible colleagues and clients set me up for an easy transition during my career change.Financial Consultant in Johannesburg, Gauteng
