Poor management.
picker (Former Employee) - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - 11 February 2021
No room for growth, poor management, High level of racecism. Once you don't see eye to eye with the manager your he will make your life bad. Using your weeknesses against you. Call the workers name, conflicting workers with each other.
Pros
Free coffee
Cons
No communication between management and workers.

Poor management
picker/packer (Current Employee) - Cornubia Industrial, KwaZulu-Natal - 5 June 2020
I belive if the management could change and show staff/employees appreciation at all times where necessary. Nobody enjoys working at mit auto parts because its like they own you, the way they treat staff. Its like When they say jump, you ask how high. We work because we need jobs.

I will not recomment anyone to work for this company especially black people
Driver (Current Employee) - Cornubia Industrial Park, KwaZulu-Natal - 15 August 2019
The management is racist the only indians people are working as sales agents not even 1 black person and that shows something about race equity and most of the black people have been fired

Unbalanced environment
Worker (Former Employee) - Germiston, Gauteng - 13 February 2019
MIT has an unusual culture. Managers are strict and office interactions and general talking is not encouraged.
Their management style is not performance based. They are more concerned with time than actual work input.
General vibe of disappointment when you talk with fellow workers.
Pros
Nice staff
Cons
Penalties for being 1 minute late. Not flexible at all

hard work place
picker and packer (Current Employee) - Germiston, Gauteng - 5 January 2017
I am a hard worker and I have learned many things like when you must work under pressure and how to work with other members. I am always there when the company needs me like working long hours. I am always putting all my efforts in my job and make sure I finish at the right time.what I don't like about that company is salary that I am getting but I have more than 3 years. They take a lot of time to promote employees .The good times is when they do a braai for us and Christmas partys
Pros
free lunch when we have worked overtime
Cons
long hours

hard working for no growth
picker (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 28 September 2016
This company is just a temporary life support it will not help you grow in your life only to keep on living and we all know that life is about grow. So it has no grow once you join in the company. Where you come in is where you`ll stay. That is if you dont get demoted
Pros
benefits
Cons
unfair warnings, hr have poor decision making skills, vending machines, counsil fees for things we dont even use

Fun and Not so enjoyable at times
WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 26 April 2016
Not the very best as some promotions are based on ethinic group as opposed to qualification hence it becomes difficult for one to express themselves even on tasks they are in charge of.Hardest part is when you have to deal with a not so motivated staff. But it is enjoyable when you have to impart skills and knowledge to them
Pros
Monthly Incentives, Quarter & Profit Sharing Bonuses dependent on sales targets being reached
Cons
Overtime most of the time and Saturdays hence one does not have much time for social life
