Fair Top management

Top Management (Group executives) does their best to motivate & unite employees. Great CEO, Mr Shuter MTNers are friendly & cooperative Low level managers are technical experts so, need more training on 'People management'. Pay & benefits are quite good Career growth only open to a few

Pros

Canteen subsidy, Employee Bursary, Free data & Airtime, Staff discounts of Devices, travel opportunities to other Africa countries, great social events

Cons

No promotions

Mtn

It was owned by a Franchise which husband and wife were very cruel. But my job was simply and clients were easy to work with no hassles. Targets were not bad.

I loved being there and I learnt a lot.

It was a fun place, it was not far from home so I did not have to spend a lot of time travelling, traffic was not bad too. I learnt a lot during my stay and I loved it. I like that we were able to work from home.

The staff as a very strong support structure, it's was like leaving my home to go to my home

MTN has made life a life changing experience, the fact that I could learn not only from the company itself but the staff I met along the way has become like family, always willing to help you learn more especially the ones that's been with Mtn for years, there's been disagreements but which work environment doesn't have it's was all about learning to cope under pressure.
