Fast paced and fun
Waitron (Former Employee) - Malvern - 24 May 2022
It's a fast paced job that requires good communication skills. As a waitron you need to engage with the customers for you enjoy the job. Management is ok even though they can do better, but they're not the worst

It's a company that looks after it's staff and customers. Very strict on quality and ensures that each employee knows the importance of food safety and how to treat and behave infront of customers.

The environment was good
Front Griller and also a Cashier (Former Employee) - KwaZulu-Natal - 2 April 2022
For me to work as front griller was good but was about the filters sometimes doesn't work probably. My problem was my Leader who like a Boss everytime , who doesn't listen other peoples opinion. He was pretending too , selfish and untrustworthy.

Free lunch

Not long hour

Difficult
General Assistant (Former Employee) - Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal - 7 March 2022
It was difficult working there during holidays that is the reason I left. Manager shouts at the workers like they are primary school children. There was more work of which requires more salaries and benefits

°Fun °I learned to be able work individually and as a team °Culture was followed correctly
Front Griller (Former Employee) - Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal - 2 March 2022
You learn at a lot there if you are willing to, and you get the experience of working as a team of you never had before. For me that was the easiest thing to do because on my 3 years at Nandos I was only sick three days, so I was always on duty to do what I was hired to do.

Had a great experience working at Nandos. I have learned to give respect to each and every one.
Runner and waitress (Former Employee) - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - 24 January 2022
Working at Nandos gave so much opportunity to do my own thing like learning how to cook and do salads as well doing my own milkshakes so in that case I have learned so much, also to treat others with respect and dressing properly with respect was the priority, making sure customers are getting what they need at the time that is written down at their slips that is an important part, cleanliness was the best I enjoyed.
Pros
Only the normal lunch that was given by the manager.
Cons
There are long hours that are being paid for, which are double shift/overtime.

Jobs at Nando's
Productive and responsibility
Manager (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 22 January 2022
Nandos its a good family group which l have worked for ,who ever you meet from the top ,they always tell you that you can make it to the top regardless off your position at that . They have so many opportunities for someone to grow if you have a good mindset to set goals of your own. For myself , the day I saw opportunity l never looked down on myself l started climbing the ladder from the 1st step until l reach my success in life. I learnt something from this family for you to be on top your should stay away from the crowd. I learnt to make a difference each day l wake up to go to work , whilst l write it down so that one day l will be proud of myself and share with others my foot steps .It has be a long journey to be where l am today but it was so smooth because l knew what l wanted to do in life .
Pros
We have some games we play to relax the mind
Cons
No concerns everything is well with me

It was so wonderful. In some way I still miss being part of that company. Putting people first making people feel they are cared for.
Senior Manager (Former Employee) - Pretoria, Gauteng - 28 December 2021
I was given a fair chance of showcasing my talent even when i was leaving they tried all the best to convince me to stay by offering everything. To make sure I was valued as an individual. When I was at my lowest they always went extra mile to show how much they care. Fair treatment what a wonderful brand.
Pros
You always have enough time for lunch and a staff meal from the company, To help with extra lunch expenses.
