A typical day at work was tiring, dealing with customers furious about the company's service was a hand full, but making the clients happy was the best feeling, I've taught myself how to approach clients in the right manner and have made myself more computer literate. Hardest part was running two to three channels at a time. Most enjoyable moment was making clients happy about my service.
Making clients happy with service
Working long hours
I would strongly advise anyone not to go work there it the worst company ever to work for. The management is terrible. CEO ask questions to a young man if your 1 year old daughter is dying with cancer will you get your target to save her life. This was the last straw for me and this was asked by the CEO in front of other managers, Shocking. you learn nothing there they do no training at all you will sit three weeks with nothing to do completely ignored when you first start. The hardest part of the job absolutely no communication from management. The building and toilets are filthy.
I cannot think of one pro working there
Making the worst career discussion of your life.
typical day at work i enjoy the fact that i do not have to wake up too early. i have learnt that team work makes the dream work. management just need to communicate more because its very easy to get demotivated. the work culture is very relaxed and the hardest part is the travelling and leaving behind you family. as much as its hard to be away y from home for a long period. it was the most enjoyably part opportunities were more.
everyone was always friendly they have a lot of respect for each other. I have learned soo much with this company.not just work related but also on a personal level. there was al lot of different cultures in the workplace but no one was discriminating against anyone. sometimes we a lot of work and cant really finish in time before we get more work but everyone tried to help you hand in the days work in time
National is not for lazy people. Job functions are clearly set out and performance is expected. They work hard all day but the environment is conducive to good relationships between colleagues.
not much room for promotional posts
I enjoy working at National security company but as a father I am responsible to take care of my kids, so I have to look for other opportunities.
Working at National security company it is good because there is a room for growth with in their structures. The only thing the heads of the company might need to look at is the communication with in the company from bottom to the top.
We work in a modern culture environment with 75 staffers per shift. We monitor alarms and send response where needed. The most challenging part is where clients need help and you are required to keep them calm and direct them to safety. Management is there to assist and train and also correct actions where needed. I have learned that security is one of the most important factors in anyone's live at this time and age. The work we do is enjoyable but only if your interest and passion is in the industry.
Working environment is so great, people i work with they are so specials i even enjoy being at work rather than being at home. work load increases day by day that means the company is growing but as far as remuneration is concerned there is no growth no change this will mark the second year without an increase thats what is making me look around.
I like the job itself speaking to clients on a daily basis ,however being that the company just got bought by another the salary has dropped and there is no benefits, management doesn't care for the staff and literally chase them away ,no real job security and the pay is pathetic
Great group of people to work with
