Exciting and challenging at the same time, because of being exposed to different personalities and serving a different client base with different needs. I gained a lot of experience in terms of how to manage and lead at the same time developing oneself academically. Almost busy each and every day to such an extent that one would not see how quick a day passes by. The most enjoyable part was when one holds meetings with staff, one gets to realize how brilliant some of our subordinates are when we have meaningful engagement and insights that one gains from holding such meetings, as well as sharing ideas and also provide guidance and motivation despite challenges that life might bring

Nedbank is a big entity and it was very nice working for a company of this magnitude. I think in my opinion they have to work hard on structuring their development and growth of the employees.

Delivering on client service expectation both external and internal, managing of a team of 25 staff members, achieving results through MOO and MOM. Managing and controlling of expenses(approvals), coaching and development of staff, direct and cross-functional. Most enjoyable: making a difference in colleagues/staff members lives iro coaching, sharing information and work "hard" together. Hardest part: to step away from a staff member who is not prepared to learn and grow with the changes and challenges. Workplace culture: independence and managing a team that is geographically spread across the region, well balanced iro emotional intelligence, trust, respect and integrity.

Nedbank limited was a very interesting journey for me, I loved working there until my contract comes to an end. Nedbank limited was agreat work experience for me, I learned a lot from their Banking system.

Learning and provided with lots of training
Cons
Working inside Pick n Pay looking for customer who will open new bank accounts, it was not easy cause most of the time people dont want to be bothered, on their lunches or while doing their shopping. It was a challenge but it will motivate you more.

It a bit hard because of weather because we worked under the gazibo in the location.I learned that there is more than a bank you have to deal with different people everyday. my co-workers I worked well with them

Most of the work as a branch manager relies on you and deploying people to do some task is not allowed due to operational processes put in place. This limits a person to grrom others into your role as the branch manager is like an admin manager and most duties are the responsibility of the manager. This was the hardest thing that one had to deal with in the branch manager role. Engaging with employees in creating the environment for performance is my priority goal and is my passion at all times to see people performaing at their maximum potential.
