I was forced to work 3 positions but earned for one position en also I was under paid the area manager had her people for promotion I was also robbed hours of overtime I was .not given choice of money or day off for my overtime it was really painful
I’m a permanent part-time employee and only working certain hours a month, the money is fairly for the days but it doesn’t cover my expenses, I need a job that will give a financial freedom where I will be able to afford myself and my family
One of the few companies tha take good care of their staff members. Nedbank believes in profit share. It lives up to its values .employees are awarded based on their performance . Anyone who has a job in this company has more than just a job that person has a family and is motivated to work harder everyday. Vision 2020 is what its working towards
Extended working hours
The first thing was to hold a brief meeting with Area Manager to discuss the previous day's business and to plot the one ahead. The next step is to call my BDO's (Sometimes on teleconference) to discuss the previous day's business and set up targets for the current day. This would also include reviewing our monthly target progress. I have learned that in order to lead people, you have to work harder than them. The workplace culture can be summed as that of accountability form all parties involved. The hardest part of the job is doing performance management especially with an underachiever. The most enjoyable part is being recognised because of hard work
A typical day at work means reaching my target/goals set for me. I learned to recpect all people around me. Management play a nessacary roll in my life. You are spending more time with your co-workers than family, that is Why we need to treat one another proffesionaly but with passionate and with respect. The hardest part of the job was dealing with not so friendly clients And still stayed professional. The most enjoyable part were ,when I was regognised for a job well done!
Nedbank staff benefits
I am a friendly person, good personality,i aways make that i keep my day good and happy by become more creative ,make sure in my bad days is become easier thou is hard.keep the focus on the day target. i learnt that nothing is imposible when you put all efoerd to anything you do ,i am the second in charge ,most of the day days when my manager he is away from branch ..i am responsible wirh the staff and branch its self so .and i always see cooparation from co-workers, as i always lead by examble.the most enjoyable part of the job..is when we have all achieve our ,monthly targets and we all receive, bonuses.
A typical day at work is professional as we start with meetings every morning with updates on wher the branch is standing with regards to sales, service and general information.I learnt that clients are very understanding if they are kept in the loop about what they ask for. I also learnt to do things right the first time as it prevents errors and reduces waste of time and money while trying to redo something.Good management system and managed by people who are targeting the same goal of the company. The co-workers are also optimistic and are good team players. The hardest part of the job is when you have a co-worker who is not working towards the company goal and is not a team player. The most enjoyable part is when you make clients happy. When you deliver exceptional service to clients that is doing more than they expected to get from a staffmember. Going the extra mile for our clients.
