Really enjoyed working at Nedbank because if you do your work and excel they appreciate every moment, you will get recognition and win some awards.and trips
we use to work long hours but they will compansate for that
A day at work differs as you meet different people as in race, age and the service that one needs it helps me to grow and learned new things everyday.
when its a busy day the company buys lunch and have reduces lunch time.
we are being controlled by the footfall in the branch and everyone has to be served.
i have learned team work people skills, team work and leadership skills. the company culture. management is excellent. hardest part is going out and and looking for business outside people can be rude, the best part is the road shows and getting awarded for all the hard work,
I enjoy working in an environment that takes care of their employees and I am proactive can work well under pressure, I also learned with in the organization that I am currently employed that growth is horizontally and vertically, that one can still grow being a manager of self . I maintain a good relationship with my colleagues, the most enjoyable part of my job is living the office knowing that you have put value to the organization and its clients, especially when a client calls you back to say thank you or a pad on the shoulder by the manager to say a job well done. The hardest part of my job is not having to attend clients due to other obstacles that the business may encounter on daily basis like power failure as this affects my daily productivity and targets.
Nedbank is a big financial company with a lot of different department that one can grow into. It is however very difficult to get posts advertised if u don't know anybody working in that particular department. I used to enjoy my job very much and eventually got bored due to the fact that i was doing one thing everyday and it was no longer challenging for me. I then tried applying in different departments without any luck i then decided to go back to school full time since i had a wish of going into information technology one day. The exciting part was when one has to go out of ones comfort zone in order to get sales and to meet the expected target.
we used to go out for breakfast once a month if we meet our expected monthly target.
having to work extra saterdays because the branch was going to be very busy, if your colleague is sick, if you want to work overtime.
