I really enjoyed being a sales consultant at Tongaat and it was a development phase in my career from shifting from the learning stages in the graduate program to fully being functional in my role. Management was really poor at the branch and really pushed hard to getting a promotion to a different branch. We dealt with the issue as a team and managed to find solutions by HR getting involved and higher management and ended up getting a new manager. Co workers were the best and we all grew together and worked as a team. Manager oppressing you and not worried about your development and growth. Sales has always been my passion and that shinned and helped me grow and get promoted.
Long hours and no day offs
Nedbank was a very exciting place to work at where I respected peoples views and we bonded as a family. We had an amazing work culture and worked as a team.
free meals on trainings
It a bit hard because of weather because we worked under the gazibo in the location.I learned that there is more than a bank you have to deal with different people everyday. my co-workers I worked well with them
we could make our own flexible hour
sometimes you were told you are to work at new spot in the morning and you had to go.
Friendly environment appeals to me with supportive management. Have learned more about Online Banking with the support of management.Co-workers were also helpful & patient. The hardest was when a regret on a sale making a sale
i have learned team work people skills, team work and leadership skills. the company culture. management is excellent. hardest part is going out and and looking for business outside people can be rude, the best part is the road shows and getting awarded for all the hard work,
Well , I enjoyed and learn a lot as a consultant , My manage kept pushing and pushing to get the best out of me and she did cos I was the high performer in the Branch and fast ans effective employee , all management took pride in me. I am very proud that I learned and and became my best. What I love most was making my client happy , when they walked out they walk out of the branch with a smile. I am not lazy and I hate it when one on my co -workers do not give the best for the client. I enjoyed myself until I was moved to a PicknPay Store as a In retail Manager , I did not like it , I feel that I was set up for failure, because that was a total different place you hardly see a client nor solve a complex problem , my adrenaline was not at use there ,I was demotivated completely, I resigned because I had to work on a Sunday and to me family time is important and spiritual things too. I love the bank though , and if given opportunity to work there I would but as a Homeloan Specialist ,
free lunch or breakfast when ever we celebrate achievements or tea, or coffee always available for free
sunday, I hate working on a sunday

A typical day at work for me is busy busy busy. I am a relationship consultant and therefore majority of my day is spent on answering emails, taking calls from my clients, problem solving and trying to make an application work. Everyday is a challenge as I never know what new type of problem will be thrown at me. This is what I love about my job - The constant challenge. I work with an awesome team, we are like one big happy family. Going to the office is a pleasure because we work hard and have a great time together. My manager is great, he is always motivating and inspiring us to reach for the sky, loads of fun and always provides a lot of entertainment in the office.. I guess the hardest part of my job is the volume of emails that I need to get through in a day and sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming. On the whole I really enjoy what I do and I take great pleasure in knowing that by doing my job, I am helping to make someone's dream come true.

I met different clients on daily basis who come with different personalities I had to adjusty to everyones character because I had to satisfy each customer.I enjoyed working at Nedbak because I acquired good communication skills, interpersonal skills and was able to meet deadlines
The working environment was friendly, used to enjoy meeting different people everyday.I had a good relationship with my colleges and our manager,we used to share lunch together like a family. The hardest part of the job was when most applications I submitted were getting declined on that day
Our Manager provide free lunch every month end
we had perfect working hours
I am a friendly person, good personality,i aways make that i keep my day good and happy by become more creative ,make sure in my bad days is become easier thou is hard.keep the focus on the day target. i learnt that nothing is imposible when you put all efoerd to anything you do ,i am the second in charge ,most of the day days when my manager he is away from branch ..i am responsible wirh the staff and branch its self so .and i always see cooparation from co-workers, as i always lead by examble.the most enjoyable part of the job..is when we have all achieve our ,monthly targets and we all receive, bonuses.
a typical day at work is when we dont have much clients in the bank for the whole day,may be two or three clients, most clients do not buy any products, they only came to enquire about their account and at the end of the day i must give figures to my manager and my manager does not accept any reason that i do not have sales for the day.i learned that i must go look for business not wait for business to come to me and in that case i do look for business by means of calling clients and looking after their needs. My co-workers do assist me cause i talk to them every day asking them to help me where i am short, i give them product knowlege so that they can be able to assist me.the hardest part of my job is reporting zero sales for the day cause i have to give an explaination why is my sales on zero, the most enjoyable part of the job is when i meet my target because then everyone is happy
free lunches is good it comes ones in the year so that we can relax a bit
