I am always on call for different ICU,s ,Netcare and life Hospitals
I start work at 06h45 ,handing over report taken from the night staff, all drugs counted and balances carried forwadenviromental checking done, faulty equipment reported, emergency trolley re-checked and used items replaced.
A head to toe patient assessment done ,all body systems checked and recorded ,all abnormalities identified and recorded.
A nursing care plan is done for the day ,time allocation done for all tasks, patients condition is communicated amongst the relevant members of the multidisciplinary team, doctors orders recorded and carried out. I do evaluation at about 18h00 and hand over to the night staff at 18h45,I enjoy the evaluation part of my work and feels good and satisfying to see the progress, the hard part of this work is to be at the patients bed side for all dayMarketing Representative in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
