Get up to speed with the latest issues and mails Get info from junior DBA's on work progress Do some research and development on new innovations The hardest part of my job is to discipline employees assign under me The most exciting part is when a project get to the end and it was a success I have learned a lot since i started my current job and there is still more to learn Work is generally productive with some entertainment with the occasional braai in the office play in the office with Nerf guns The job is quite enjoyable with challenges, i love challenges that is one of the best ways to learn and innovate and to build experience in the job environment

Have some perks with internet and with a lot of training material

There is some long hours but is manageable

It's a good and profeasional company. You can work yourseldbup in the ranks rather quickly and not really struggle with adapting to the new work/level. Training is offerres everywhere.

I was not taught much and I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is finding their feet or who just graduated because there is no growth, I stayed long because I couldn't find a job else where

Everyday is overwhelming. I have learned a lot including telephone ettiquitte. Management is very nice. I gel well with my collegues. When I call difficult suppliers. When I achive over average.

I pay for my lunch and transport.

NWK Ltd is not a bad company to work for but more can be done for employees in certain departments.

A typical day at work was to get the employees positive for the day if you work with a negative manager. during my time with the company i have learned to be humble, treat my fellow workers with respect and dignity. All of us did not have the same opportunities in life and was therefore scolded for giving less fortunate people training and advice to better their lives and to progress within the company. It is therefore one of the reasons why i opted to seek other employment because of the managers negativity towards teaching and guiding the less fortunate to better employment status within the company. More can be done by human resources to unite all employees within the company and eradicate the culture of one department is better then the other. All departments should be treated the same weather you work at head office or out in the field at the furthest silo or depot.
