The management needs to motivate the workers not push on targets only without checking on them are they coping or not. Yes the business its about target and all but some months are not the same when it comes to business.
Pros
Yes there were free lunches when you perform well.
Cons
Long hours was a big problem rep up meetings and yiu need to go to taxi rank it was quite risky.

Many objective and little time to achieve. Precise planning required each day. A collaborate effectively with other staff/ departments. learning experiences about the pension fund act and the financial sector. Learnt about the new policies such as Money laundering, TCF and PPI. Management are always looking to safe cost and practice LEAN principles and exercise authority when required. The culture is generally a productive, fun and self management culture. The hard part of the job is to perform multiple tasks of other ex-employees without extra remuneration. The best part of the job is to work hard, catch up with your work and to be rewarded with a nomination and cash incentives.

Working with a team makes the Job easy, Management they are very understanding when it comes to the employees, they listen to employees opinion about business plans, they motivate the employees all the time. Provide us with trainings to have more understanding of what we offering clients, and give some incentives like Sparkfolio to motivate us reach our business targets

Don't do it, not a necessary place to work for, management us bad and you can go for months with no pay. The support system is not good and everyone resigns.

Major Corporate IT Organisation busy with a rebuild and refactoring. Causing some discomfort in the staff ranks. The transition will take several years but seems correctly directed. Many projects that sometimes overlap. Business-As-Usual resources are already stretched and struggle to give time to project work causing delay and further frustration

Bad pay and poor commision structure, you get overworked in branches and all management care about is their own pocket so they drive you to hit your targets but they get more commision than you....but the main problem is the salary... its horrible

Working at Old Mutual is the worst thing one can do... especially if you are qualified in other fields and end up working there due to lack of employment. You do all the ground work and top management gets all the fat cheques. You dont get paid some months and you still expected to perform with no basic salary or a salary at all. You are sold dreams when you go through the interview process and you only get to learn the spade work when you start working. Leaving Old Mutual mean debt follows you. They make you pay to the last training and meals they served you there. For such a big Company, it is actually treating it employees bad. All that leads to severe stress, non performance and the lowest rate of employee retention. 90% Employees resign from the 4th month normally.
