Great Company to Work For

Great company with lots of opportunity. I also love working with the people there. They are incredibly flexible as well. The fact that the job is remote is also a huge bonus.

Great Exposure

I had a great internship experience with Parsons. I learned so much and I am so grateful for the company and the team. I worked for them for two years and I loved it.

Great springboard company

I have nothing bad to say about Parsons. They gave me the opportunity to come out of college and get some real world experience and have competitively matched my salary the entire way along with giving me growth opportunities.

Great Place

This is overall a great place to work. Work loads are manageable and pay is equitable. My main complaint is that there is not an easy way to distinguish employees for exemplary performance.

Poor management

Worked with multiple people who were laid off after decades of dedication. 1-2 week notice and a boot! Until it happened to me ..no compassion, morning call and account cut off. They couldn’t get my lay off day right, HR has always been laughable, middle management lack direction, cheer leaders last. I hate I wasted my years but would never recommend the work place. Toxic but some good people and you are lucky if you end up with a good manager.

Awful high management. Biased and preferential treatment for those with their nose up the backside of the ones in charge. No support, only bean counting.

I’m very pleased with my hours, pay, coworkers and supervisors.

What is the best part of working at the company?Great management, positive and respectful. Very clean environment and they work with your family/personal needs. For someone willing to put on the effort, you’ll go a long way! This is the best company that I worked with.

My first stint with Parsons I was under a Senior Resident Engineer who is an American. He is very fair & just to everyone and he does not mind our color but our performance. He always hear our views in decision making, gives credit to those who perform well and rewards us with good and fair performance evaluation which in turn gives us merit increases that we deserve based on management rules. He couches us whenever we need his help. Reporting errors and omission of the designer was my hardest part of my job as they are our competitor.The most enjoyable part of my job is when I get the recognition on what I accomplished that was the reason why I stayed with the company for more than 10 years.

Pros

Pay and other benefits is just fair. Company provided good accommodations, excellent healthcare

Engineering power house

You get to work with Multi cultural and multi disciplinary infrastructure experts . Work atmosphere is professional but can get tedious at times. Overall good.

Corporate Lacks Processes

Communication from corporate is lacking. No strong processes that are communicated down through the organization. Upper management heavy with lack of support staff.

Exposure to mega projects in GCC

Its a perfect place to learn and develop knowledge and skill. Lots of highly experienced staff from all engineering fields. New projects in the pipelines most of the time.Downside, stressful and super long working hours, working from home is a crime according to Parsons bible.

Very toxic environment including harassment and lack of teamwork across the board.

What is the best part of working at the company?The company is great for open minded diverse staff. . Unfortunately Parsons Finance Team does not support diversity. The billing manager is the worst of the worst.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The Finance Team lacks accountability for mistakes. Absolutely amazing

Poor communication

Interviewed for two positions. No feedback and no response from either. Followed up with recruiters and interviewers with no responses. All claimed great communication and culture. Not reflected in candidate process.
