You have to be a hard worker and be prepared to work extra long hours.Pep is a low cost company so everything that should be paid has to be in line with that philosophy.The company has got a great culture, you feel at home the moment you start working there.
Pep has a good culture called Sikhula kunye means we are growing together... I worked for pep stores for 8 years and I enjoyed every year If you are a hard worker you get lot of opportunities for instead relieving different stores

No recognition from area manager, favouritizim among managers by area manager, culture good in stores but at the headoffice they ways back their area managers....incentives based on monthly target made. Merchandising unit being sent with boxes, staff have to use new fixtures themselves......top management less visits the stores which makes Dynamos question how important or their effort is f thy nt getting any visits,

At Pep There Is no free Lunches anyway,their Lunch take 1hour and then get back to work there is nothing fun in Pep we always do the job and Helping the new ones

Friendly and supporting company, they treat everyone(customers n employees) with respect n dignity, they have good culture, life changing experience.
A day at work it similar as life, today it's good tomorrow its bad. Pep stores company taught me a lot of things I highly recommend it. Management very poor but depends who is in charge. Workplace culture very excellent. Hardest part of the job is preparing for stock taking. The enjoyable part of the job is exceeding daily minimum sales budget and helping customers.
I learned how to work with people who has more experience than me and learned how things were done at pepThe hardest part was standing all day otherwise everything was enjoyable.
We work as team in everything we doPermanent or temp we are all treated equally And they promote best customer serviceThe manager is the good person to work with

It's so good to work at Pep stores but the only thing needs to be taken care of ....it's being a casual more than two years that is totally unfair... atleast after 18 months you deserve a contract
