certain decisions that you have to make even if they are hard. At pep we are one and tge hardest part is when the delivery came late to deliver stock
At pep you must have the ability to persevere with a task to a successful conclusion, despite which obstacles which may be encountered. The ability to take decisions without hesitation and to accept responsibility for them.

The salary is bad but u work long hours and every day, you don't have time to your self because you always tired and stressed of targeting sales everyday
You need to have good communication with customers. Be fast as possible as you can. You cannot be only a cashier but you unpack stock, hang the stock, clean the shop, keep an eye on the customers not to steal and open the boxes. It was quiet an experience

I've dealt with variety of customers. Ive learned how to handle different kinds of situations. How to work in a group. How to manage a difficult situation. The hardest part of the job was helping a customer that won't understand that you don't have the ability to make decisions that a manager or supervisor is suppose to make. Fun part was when we had to dress up at work.
Long after hours
A hate having an unhappy day at work. I hate the fact when managers let people stay late at work an knowing the environment is not safe. Do not use people tell people you recruit whats the set up at the first time meeting or interviewing the person. Treat evryone equal.
Pep stores is one of the busiest stores in south Africa and I've learned what it means to be employed with them, I've learned to be a team player and the management at the time taught me discipline. The hardest part was the hard labor and long hours, for me as a woman hard labor was difficult because i had to carry heavy boxes. I am a tiny person so every day after work there's was nothing else I could do(study or extra mural activities) but rest to get strength for the next day. i enjoyed serving customers and it was relaxing since they had music all the time.
