Baker in Gardens, Western Cape

Great place to work at , fun and productive
Awkward and very long hours, hardly get weekends off. Management is always putting pressure on staff and would not embrace the company's values. There is so much room for growth and opportunities are always there. Employees are like family embracing the company's culture and showing empathy when serving customers everyday.

Experience and also fun to work especially during festive
At pick n pay you need to be clean and presentable because you worling with customers all day. You need have atleast a smile on ur face when talking to ur customers you also ask if they have a smart shopper so that he can offer them if they dnt have.you have tea time and also lunch break where tea is also free at all times. I found it easy to work there because I'm always around people and I love helping people.the only disadvantage for me was he Long hours standing one place as I preferred walking abit around when I back pack the products. Overall the woke is simple and fun

I had a great experience working there, it was a different environment from where I was coming from even though it was still customer service. I learnt a lot from them.
