Pnp is nice company for one to work for ,but that one can be determined by the type of management u find at the work place more especially family store,some gave no benefits

Long hours and must expect to work overtime
The managers harass you and expect you to work like a slave. If you don't take your lunch break by 13:00 you forfeit it. Managers attitudes towards staff does not promote healthy working environment instead you constantly feel stressed. The owner was verbally abusive (swearing staff).
Working on your feet. Not allowed to sit. The salary does not justify the workload
I had times of fun while I was working at pick n pay, and I learned lot of things that made me strong and be always smiling and happy in difficulties

I enjoy working there it was good even there the were hard times but it was good experience the bosses were good people,that is were I learn to talk and treat customers
Pick n pay is a wonderful company to work for but the only problem is , you don't get permanent employment. So u dont have any benifits . The company send u for the training in which ever way they can to make your job eazier . & management treat their their staff like family .
I loved working there though due to personal issues i had to leave. I was working long hours than my collegues yet i never complained because i loved my job and i was enjoying it though over time was not paid 😞

The company is one of the Best companies you can work for, they believed in the growth of their staff while keeping the Customer satisfied. On a normal day you'd start the day by making sure the store is Safety, Hygiene and merchandised standards are complied with before the store is opened, ensure that all security measures are in place. Then assist customers on the floor and the Point Of Sale. Receiving of stock and making sure all administrative work is done promptly. Weekly meetings where you motivate your staff and making sure your meet them half way should they be having any difficulties. Making schedules/ Kronor and making sure all staff members are paid accordingly. Pick n Pay is a diverse company where you have the luxury of working and meeting customers from all walks of life. The company gives you enough platform to learn team work and give you the opportunity grow as an individual. It's always hard to say Good Bey to a hard working staff member who has great potential of growing their career in the company.Seeing one of you subordinates grow in the company
