Work is good and the environment is workable. Management is friendly and dedicated to their duties. The only thing I am not happy about is remuneration...... It's not enough
Free tea and bread
Pick n Pay is an amazing workplace.the supervisors are friendly and encourages u to keep growing and grab many opportunities as possible in order to succeed in life.
No free lunch
A typical day at work was getting there early having travelled a fair distance too , ive learned that people will judge you no matter what job you do Hardest part was the taking of stock from a rolltainer and pushing 450kg alone But the fun part was interacting with customers everyday
Can take lunch at anytime
Working at Pick n Pay has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. It was fun and people there treat you like family. I wouldn't mind working there again

Pick n Pay WC27 is a great store to work in, the floor staff works together as a collected unit with great team spirit but a handfull of managers abuse their power and take advante of their authority
customers come first (the customer is your queen)
handfull of abusive managers
I would really work at Pic n Pay again. The stuff was really welcoming. I was still a student at that time, I thought It would be difficult for me because it was my first job.
It's not an ideal job but it helps with your communication skills because you get to interact with customers
As a till packer you required to pack packages for customers and you get to communicate with them asking them if they need help with anything. Pick n pay has the best managers which they assist when you need help working for pick n pay was easy
