For me personally to be in retail,its hard you have to be able to work the hours at the same time it's great you get the chance to meet new people every day

Pick n Pay is a very good company to work for. They look after their staff by supplying free meals and transport especially when working late shifts. I think that their pay rate is fair for retail as well as their working hours/shifts. They also offer various benefits. Pick n Pay has a good friendly working atmosphere

I loved working at Pick n Pay as I learnt alot, also the staff as well as management are amazing always willing to teach, always willing to help so you never felt alone because the company overall is an extremely good one.

A typical day at work was getting there early having travelled a fair distance too , ive learned that people will judge you no matter what job you do Hardest part was the taking of stock from a rolltainer and pushing 450kg alone But the fun part was interacting with customers everyday

Pick n pay is a good company that provides growth for there employees. In order to grow at pick n pay you must be willing to learn and look for challenges and overcome those challenges by doing a good job. Pick n pay its a good place to be, because you learn new things every day. I enjoy working for this company because there are more opportunities coming up. At pick n pay you gain more experience of how to offer a good customer service. I njoy to work there because of good management and stuff.
Pick n Pay WC27 is a great store to work in, the floor staff works together as a collected unit with great team spirit but a handfull of managers abuse their power and take advante of their authority

Pick n pay is a fast paced warehouse. You have to reach your KPI per hour and its very stressful at pick season when the demand more of the stock . We had to work overtime and you don't get enough rest because of the long hours and two days off in a week

Like any business, you need to be committed,observent,learn dedicate yourself 100%,be risk management is essential and be a problem solver,be fast and clean yourself
The benefits from the company is very good.
Just have to casual very long before coming permanent.
Once permanent you work 45hrs a week.
No public holidays and Sunday work.
Working on above days will be paid overtime.
Overal it's a great company to work for.

It's a productive and family friendly store, with it's daily stresses and successes. It's fast-paced and relaxed environment is a great learning curve for beginners.
First i started as a cleaner at pnp great xperience fo 9 months after 9 months i asked to work in the service department and it was a really great and fullfilling experience
