Store Manager (Former Employee) - Klerksdorp, North West - 10 May 2018

As a Store Manager it your responsibility to open and close the store some night where you will be on standby if there is a alarm call out. Main duty in the morning will be to check that the service area is fully stocked and presentable for customer and that there are enough tills open to trade. The rest of the day will consist of placing orders to get stock into the store,insuring that all OHS standards are adhered to, dealing with discipline issues and providing a great place for customers to shop.

Working at this company is challenging and u learn new things everyday...u meet new people and characters often....management is great except when it comes on applications for a new position inside the store...believe u get the position because they favour u not because they see the potential in you....hours a less ..

Good company with opportunities for staff growth

Very stable company, with great benefits to staff and customers. I started to work for the Hypermarkets in 1990, moved to supermarkets in 1997 as a data capturer and label clerk, I then moved back to hypermarkets in 2006 as a InvoiceClerk/Data Capturer until 2010.
