The benefits from the company is very good. Just have to casual very long before coming permanent. Once permanent you work 45hrs a week. No public holidays and Sunday work. Working on above days will be paid overtime. Overal it's a great company to work for.
If hours were given properly it would be a better place for people like me who still would love to achieve a lot in life, the problem is the cutting of hours
Pnp was everything to me I was working as a team with my managers, supervisors as well as my colleague all I can say everything was absolutely perfect.at pnp we were getting paid at 25 of the month every month.i live pnp because my husband was going to work at Eastern Cape.i was working as a cashier as well as a reliving supervisor.
Pick n pay is a very big company well known it supposed now according to its longtime service operation to pay their staff at least a first entry salary of 4000 a month because that job it acquires a lot of strength and energy and also u need to focus and u r at risky of being robbed so the salary is not fair at all. As an employee u need to treat your employees as your friend don't distance yourself hjjj

Always helping each other to assist our customers in store.we were friendly to our customers we had a good leader ship it loved my supervisor she was the best ever
we did have long our month end
Collegues are fun to work with.sumtimes the customers can be very selfish..as for management, they dont appreciate what we do best,in other words..No thank yous..they will never say well done..i enjoy it when the customers give me a tip.da worse part is when we have less staff for da day with lots of customers..
Its very very difficult when it comes to month end its very demanding.l learned about different characters of the custormerslThe managers are always willing to help all the time.me and my coworkers are always giving extra mile to our services. The hardest part of this job is to face a very difficult customer and to make sure when he/she walks she happy. The most enjoyable part of this job is when you being recognized and rewarded with an award
everyday we aiming at budget of the day
Getting to work early and ready 15minutes before the store opens:making sure all tills are open clean and working and enough front line staff.Working as a cashier and supervisor thought me a lot about customer service and teamwork ;so getting along with co workers and management is important.Dealing with difficult customers is very hard.It always gave me great pleasure when customers complimented me about the great service I give them.
