Great company to work for in your early years
Java Developer (Former Employee) - Parktown, Gauteng - 20 August 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWhen you begin your career, a company like Psybergate will boost your confidence and competance. Great java training ( cooking pot of Java).... But there is an issue with remuneration. When there are good reasons to pay more, they find tactics not to honour the part.
Pros
Work Experience
Cons
Low Pay

Rotten management
Applicant (Former Employee) - Sandown, Gauteng - 21 July 2021
They seem to be caring and involved at first... but as you get to know more you will find that the Top level management are callous insensitive selfish characters who actually only care about their bottom line and how they are going to make use of you to generate a maximum profit outcome for themselves... be extremely wary of the offers for learning opportunities that they will say are unmatched anywhere. They will try to make you feel inept and then try to manipulate you into believing that you need them to develop and build your abilities and that you cannot do this elsewhere with any other company on the market. Keep in mind that one of their primary money generators is contracting you out to 'Other Companies' at a lower rate of pay for you while charging the Client more than you are paid so that they can profit from the difference without contributing very much to your success in the position you do end up working in.
Pros
If you are new in the industry you probably will learn in the first six months
Cons
High expectation without recognition or reward, Low pay, Manipulative and derogatory management, claw back clause to get money out of you if you leave within 2 years of joining

Not great
Business Analyst (Current Employee) - Parktown, Gauteng - 11 April 2020
Good for growth initially, max 3.5 years from then on you start noticing how underpaid you are... Very poor management with regards to growing skills and appreciating workers. Always being tricked into accepting the bare minimum.. Abusive environment will take fighting a lot to get ahead, emotionally exhausting

Good Contracting House
Application Architect / Enterprise Architect (Former Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng South Africa - 3 April 2019
A good contracting house that works to improve its contractors and provide a good quality resource to their customers. They work hard on providing their contractor with great opportunities and attempt to direct them in a mature and ethical way.

Jobs at Psybergate
laid back
Junior IT consultant (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 4 August 2017
Seems like a good place to work because it is quite small. Their mentoring program for grads is really good, passion driven teaching.
However, very low salaries, fictitious possibilities with regards to advancement in the company.
Overall, a good place to start if you want to learn and find your footing. But if you want more its better to look elsewhere after the learning experience
Pros
Great work mates
Cons
low salary
