Good Pay/Poor Management
Receiver/Forklift Operator (Former Employee) - Manassas, VA - 28 December 2018
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe pay and benefits are good. But the management is poor. No communication between supervisors. Low morale. Employees are great to work with. Overall not a bad place to work.

Not for everyone
CDL Class A Driver (Current Employee) - La Crosse, WI - 13 April 2022
If you like physical tasks like I do to keep you active, you'll be fine here. It is physically demanding but if you pace yourself you will be able to do it for a long time. The management doesn't expect you to move mountains, but they will for you as long as you do a few things. The fellow drivers are a good bunch with few exceptions. The riders are all pleasant to work with. You can train until you feel confident. If it takes 2 days or 6 months, they don't care. They just want you to feel confident. The cardinal rules are: 1- don't break equipment 2- don't get tickets 3- complain in the office about menial stuff they can't really help 4- show up and do your job Some negatives are the trailers are built poorly some days and you dig through an entire pallet. That happens. Management will pay you an hour of downtime if it's bad and you take pictures. Sometimes the routes are routed bad, and you drive across town several times unnecessarily. Being new is absolutely terrible. Learning the stops is horrible, and takes forever. A regular day is about 10-11 hours, but figure 12-14 when you're new. New guys get trash routes. It's just a fact of the trucking industry. After 6 months you'll start making money, and imo that's really why they offer a bonus in the first place. Plan on showing up around 2-430 AM. Stick it out for a few months, communicate politely with management, pace yourself, and you will have a good time here.
Pros
Weekends off
Cons
Long hours and trailers built poorly.

Facility Maintenance manager (Current Employee) - Louisville, KY - 26 February 2022
great company i would recommend to anyone. Good work-life balance and friendly people but more limited opportunity to move around or up. There could be better collaboration between departments, there should be more cross-functional teamwork.
Pros
free lunches, free coffee. flexible schedule
Cons
topping out in pay

Hard work, Good pay
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Springfield, MO - 25 February 2022
Work is physically hard since you are unloading trailer with ramp and dolly. But, the faster you work the faster you finish, and the pay isn’t bad for the hours you put in.
Pros
Pay, vacation time
Cons

Tough work at times, but not a bad gig. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have back/knee issues.
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - 29 January 2022
At my Depot the management was fair but there was always a lot of turnaround. Moved up in Seniority quick because the nature of the business runs through drivers.
Pros
Better home time than OTR
Cons
Tough work at times

Professional Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Rogers, MN - 28 November 2021
Uncommon hours. Typical work day is 1:00-2:00am start times. Done before lunch. Money is good. Do your job, do it right and they don’t bother you much about anything.
Pros
Money. 4 day work weeks
Cons
Early start times.

Backstabbing Liars!!!! RUN! Run away QUICK!!!
Shuttle Driver (Former Employee) - La Vergne, TN - 10 November 2021
If a managers lips are moving, it's a lie. Tell you what you want to hear to get you out of the office. Ask a question, you won't get an answer. They don't even know their own systems and policies. In cab cameras record driver with audio, full time when truck exceeds 5mph. Management doesn't take suggestions to improve productivity or efficiency. Will abandon you for hours if your vehicle breaks down, which happens often. Communication is horrible. Anything you don't need to know, they text, email post. But important issues... good luck!
Pros
Insurance is decent and starts day 1. Good PTO program
Cons
Everything else.

With the right management team it’s a decent place for young guys
Delivery Driver Class A CDL (Current Employee) - Marshall, MN - 20 August 2021
I have worked here for 3 1/2 years. It’s a decent place in reality. You WORK HARD. Real hard. Your usually dead-dog tired at the end of the day, but you just made $250-$400 (or more for holidays) so it washes out. You work every holiday. You work in the snow storms. You work in the rain. You work in the sunshine. Some customers want too much, but most get to know you. Some salesman I’ve heard can be hard to deal with but mine have always been good. If your young and don’t mind busting your butt, it’s a good place and I would recommend it IF the management team is good. I’ve heard horror stories about some that aren’t. Mine in Marshall are good people all around.
Pros
Discounts on everything. Insurance is good. Discounts on phone bill, car and rental insurance, and they give you free stuff occasionally.
Cons
It’s really easy to get injured, It’s HARD work, The pay scale could be better for how difficult the job can be.

Stressful enviroment. Nice employees
Order Picker (Former Employee) - Rogers, MN - 4 August 2021
The two good things out of this are the pay is decent for what you start making when in training. that and the most of the staff is nice too. everything is just bad and stressful. Stressful things are overtime every week hours usually range anywhere from 50 to 60 plus hours a week. also, Training is so short that you will have to learn the whole warehouse in 4 days and their tricks and paper to fill out on top of that. My trainer was good he wasn't the issue the issue was the amount of time that you are given to learn everything in less than a week. Also, the wooden Pallets are the weakest cheap looking I have ever worked with. The pallets are so flimsy they are so fragile to put items the half the time that I worked with them that they would break because the wood supports on them would snap and mess up the load and then would have to stop and either fix the issue or get a new pallet to build onto the new pallet and waste more time. These pallets are so weak that when they come in that they are already falling apart so you have to go looking for a new one every time. Bad things were your mental state will cause you to feel exhausted but that is with every job. but mine working there was so bad that the overtime and learning everything there and life outside of work was making me mentally and physically exhausted to the point of quitting because of my issues I knew walking into this job that everything was going to be stressful for me but I wanted to work here because a friend used to work here and he told that he was a good place to work
Pros
Decent pay. Nice staff
Cons
Overtime, pallets, tranning, mental state

Long hours, fair compensation.
Meat Cutter (Current Employee) - La Crosse, WI - 27 July 2021
Working as a meat cutter you will work 10 or more hours a day 5 days a week. If you like and want overtime this is the place for you. The communication is very poor. No one has a strong idea of what’s happening as things rotate around the room. There is very little training that takes place. Not because there isn’t a lot to pickup. It’s because no one wants to take the time to teach you. The building has very low morale and a high turnover.
Pros
Compensation
Cons
Long hours, lack of training, high turnover
