I do provide strong leadership in Health, Safety and Environment including advice and support to the members of the EHS organization and onshore projects, teams on back office as well as site level. This entails developing, implementing and maintaining of effective EHS management systems, which will continue to meet client, regulatory and internal requirements. • Ensuring a consistent approach and quality by EHS officers assigned to projects. • Manage the EHS Advisors' performance and ensure they meet the standards. • Planning of human resources in terms of Advisor headcount and assignments on offshore and onshore projects • Acting as a point of contact for escalated issues unable to be solved at project level • Participating in identifying and solving EHS issues • Monitoring, revising and developing EHS processes in the management system • Acting as a direct line manager in regards to HR matters • Assist the EHS Region Head in general department management acting as his deputy including driving processes across the organization with multiple interfaces to technical and commercial support functions I do have EHS management experience from the onshore, construction, commissioning and plant industry operations area. I do have some marine experience. Moreover, I have experience as team manager and possess strong people management skills. I do hold relevant professional qualifications, certifications in EHS or have documented relevant experience for this role – this includes a significant knowledge of EHS legislation and relevant industry standards; e.g. OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. I am regarded as an excellent coach who can mentor and communicate skilfully in order to manage a complex setup of stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and authorities.
