As an operator
Operator (Former Employee) - South Africa - 5 August 2019
I gained many things when i was working as an operator for instance to work as a team n i get that as an operator you always need to focus on target and also quality is very important if you are an operator because if you ever miss any part or put any extra part there will be a rework and that will be a lost of the company

Great System and International exposure
Manager: Head of Human Resouces (Current Employee) - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal - 4 August 2019
Samsung shall provide you with insight and exposure to the most advanced and world-class IT systems available. Although it takes some time to learn and get used to these, very soon they become indispensable to your carrying out your everyday duties.
This enables you to carry out more tasks and grow in your own career. Working at Samsung provides an opportunity to travel to overseas subsidiaries including Europe and South Korea.
What you put in is what you get out. Notwithstanding there are great benefits for good performance, an on-site canteen, free transport to and from work, a year-end bonus, quarterly team-builds and monthly department lunches.
Pros
Transport, canteen, great people, Korean Directors, international travel, good incentives, above market salaries
Cons
Sometimes rigid time-keeping.

Fast paced working environment
Financial Accountant (Current Employee) - Johannesburg, Gauteng - 1 January 2019
Samsung is a fast paced environment with strict deadlines. Its almost impossible to work out a day`s plan and adhered to it. So I have learnt to multitask.
I have learned to cope under very challenging working conditions. I have also learnt to take responsibility and manage my own work.

Most enjoyable part of my job is meeting our strict deadlines.
Pros
Quartely performance Bonus
Cons

I fix samsung hand held phones and I also check condition of samsung products.
Technician (Current Employee) - Midrand - 30 April 2018
I fix samsung hand held phones and I also check condition of samsung products. All of these I learned at samsung academy. My management is very good supportive at all times. We treat each other with respect and we always work together to achieve the best. The hardest part would be, I stay far and the salary is not enough. What I enjoy is that the respect we have for each other.
