Stable work

Indeed Featured review

Stable working environment with good benefits. Higher level of education will help you progress quicker. Great opportunity for people just leaving school at any level. You can work and study.

Pros

Food and accommodation is provided when you live in the base

Cons

Your time belongs to the defense force. They tell you when to work.

Not an environment for ambitious individuals

Very hard for individuals to grow in an environment that’s dominated by people who do not want to work hard at making it a possibility to be leaders in future. Progress gets cut by individuals who are your direct supervisors

Pros

Enough time to study and empowering yourself

Cons

Superiors want people to be submissive to their demands even if it’s rather personal, they tend to drag personal matters to work.

knowlegde of the job must be current and your conduct must always be professional.

I gained knowledge and skills. I normally prepared the tasks of the next day, the previous day. The work place culture is cohesive and consist of different cultures. The hardest part of the job was the marking of assessment, moderating and supervision of different class places. The most enjoyable part is during cultural days and when practical must take place.

busy and learningfull work never the same

the discipline was the best for me and the strickt structures to whe have worked. everything stricktly according to a sertine time in the day. from preparing inspection in the dark to pt to breakfast and classes and fitness tests. staying busy until sometimes 21.00pm it was fun. the hardest part was living with 31 other girls in one bungelow and getting used to each other.the hardest part was most defenitly the bush face where we did suvival and life amo shooting and sleeping in the cold and limited water and not having realy the resorces to bath or a nice soft warm bed and clean cloths. but at the end of the day u sit and talk about everything that was done and learn form everyones mistakes and try and correct it the next time.we learned to much about diffrent cultures and personalities.

Pros

structure and medical aid, housing, pention

Cons

long hours and must not be area bound.
