Great working environment

A great place to work, and I learnt a lot from the Army, a way of living, discipline and understanding my position with my superior. The hard part of the job is working through out the night in the field.

credit days

less time with family

protecting the citizens within my country

the SANDF treated me to take my collegues as brothers and sisters because in battle we have to work together side by side in order to protect our country.

Productive and very disciplined working place

Everyday is almost the same, starting at 07:30 till 16:00 umless otherwise instructed. Guarding the military base and other designated areas and the province 24hrs a day 7 days a week, ensuring that the base remains spotlessly clean no matter what.I have learned a lot about functional and display discipline, how to work with, tolerate, understand, respect other people around you as our organisation comprises of people who are as young as 18 to as old as 60 working together everyday and you find that you are supervising someone who is 40 years older than you.We are a very diverse working environment as you find all official and non-official languages and races in 1 working area at the same time.As any other organisation, there are also downs which now and then afect your morale e.g. being away from home for sometimes even 9 months straight, having to work as far as 1600km away from your home.I do not think there is an organisation that prides itself with ensuring that workers play sports and dedicate a day for sports every week. LTU is the best i have seen and you travel the world.

free food, accomodation, water, electricity
