High Workload

Call centre / servicing clients via email. High workload, overtime is is always offered due to the service levels always being low.Incentive is not easy to attain. Most people work the job in hopes to end up somewhere else.

Very good salary and great place to gain experience

One of the best companies to work for in terms of gaining experience and great salary and benefits. However management lack a bit on giving others opportunities for promotion or when applying for other posts. You might sit in one post for years, they won't acknowledge you and have the ones they would acknowledge to get other posts. But indeed a great company and learning environment 👌🏻

The training was perfectly presented and the trainers are well prepared to conduct training. Too much work to do and you will be overwhelmed especially if you don't have the background for it. Gets easier though as you go through it and get used to the system and workflow and find your own method that will suit you obviously being a compliant and detailed person.

I had a competitive,challenging, fruitful and advancing 12 years at Santam. My learning experiences at Santam was rewarding and complete. My 2nd position at Santam was a finance approval clerk and my 3rd positon was an accounts payable clerk position which i just started to learn alot in the team but then finished work in 2019. I would love to return to Santam soon.

All ok until you move

While everyone is working from home we had to relocate for the one in our household that is main bread winner. Although you can perform 99% of work from home and they close the big office they refuse relocation. Force resignation. No interest to help or accommodate. Short soghted management
