I got rid of a tatoo and later my skin remain with a dark spot that enables people to see that i had a tatoo before, and am a Policing student, so will it be difficult for me to find a job? Or not, as long as the colour of the tattoo has faded?

  • No as long as there is no tattoo

  • No, just make sure to cover your tattoo mark at all times. No Police official must be seen with tattoos, as we are setting good leadership skills to our youth.

  • Must not have visible tatoo

  • Honestly I'm not sure what happens about people with tattoos, but what I know is SAPS they respect their appearance, they respect their dress code and very strict to that, we have to be neat and presentable at all times. The other thing I have noticed is that SAPS respects cultural diversity. they have a room to accommodate different cultures, I think if you have a reason for your tattoos they might have a plan on how accommodate you.

  • As long as the tattoo is not visible it is not a problem

  • Won't be difficult but could raise questions
