I’ve learnt a lot from them. As my first job they did a great job. My senior manager really contributed a lot in my career and having to meet him again at Absa it was a blessing because of the things he taught me along my walks of life

It was a good company in 1994 from government to a semi company but as years go by things change especially from 2004 . Bad people from top management joined the post office and it started to drop the standard and if you can look at now ,it is No longer good at all the services are poor and also the morale is very down from the employees
Pros

Cons

I suggest that Post office to be privatized so that the culture can change and the company will start make profit and win the trust of the community back.
We worked in a team of twelve people all young and energetic and hungry for challenges and work. Paying sassa beneficiaries their dues. It was a wonderful and challenging experience working with various people especially the old ones but however i have learn a lot about customer service and working with hard and large sum of money and handling various customer enquiries.

I started as a data capturer work for 9 months there, promoted to teller, then admin and for the past 8 years mail controller, mainly a mail dominated ar which I did a great job. My reason for resigning was due to poor management style which makes it impossible to deliver what it takes, which was the slogan of the company at the time.
It was a great experience working there, I got to see clients face to face. Solving and helping people was a great honor. Tellers were patient teaching us
