Your day starts as soon as you get in the office as you have to start to prepare for the masses. Make sure your workstation is clean and ready to assist clients. Check that you have all you stationary and equipment is working to avoid running around

Very production and you experience different things everyday. You need to be innovative and ready to learn. Serving customer to our best ability was key. Customers come first in every employee. You need to be very reliable always be on time. always put the customers needs first.
Operationalize the regional sales strategy into tactical plans to drive sales activities across the full customer value proposition through cross sell opportunities optimization and acquisition of new commercial banking, Agricultural, Public Sector and Franchise clients. I learned more about people and how to manage a team effectively and successful.
Assists customers in the branch. Learned how to deal with different charactors, empathy and communication skill. Management is very supportive. We follow laid down procedures. Working under pressure and dealing with difficult customers. Learning new things everyday, EG, a query that challenges you to solve.

Standard Bank is a good company to work for I have learned so much from the company and it has helped me to build my confidence in a positive way, I have achieved a lot like I now have my regulatory examination certificate for sale representative and I am now studying towards my certificate in banking via cornerstone. Even though standard bank is going through retrenchment process and I'm one of the unlucky employees the truth is I have gained a lot based on the experience.

typical day at work its only when we having system glitch as we also do customer facing and its looks a bit disappointing having a customer coming here and the next thing they must be returned as there's other things to be accessed on the system and cant be done manually. Our culture is great team work and transparency. I personally do no think there;s hardest part of job so long as we work as a team , we always conquer. recognition and rewards.
I enjoyed myself working at standard Bank although it was lot of pressure ..but in 2007 I decided I want to try something different and start my own small transport business and I resigned
