Beyond Excellence awards
there was a time when a new system was introduced and it kept on freezing and that affected our sales. so we had to approach management to try and work on a fall back mode and use the old system so that we at least make sales for that particular week unlike leaving work with Zero sales
Excellent client experience Delivering to stakeholders Making money Compliance Reaching 100 % or more on sales targets and service and compliants It's a good company to wortk for it need motivated and ernergetic peoples to make sure the business is sustained financially especially consultants
Working in the financial sector is quiet stressful yet fun, working with a team or alone especially when dealing with clients is uplifting and exciting as you meet the diverse public, deal with people from different parts of the country and sometimes you interact with foreigners. I have learned to accept, respect and appreciate every human being and treat them equally no matter what their bank balanced revealed. The sometimes not so great part of my job was explaining to a client that he /she cannot afford a product because of affordability or other reasons, to see disappointment in their eyes really makes me uncomfortable.
It was Wednesday afternoon when I thought I was gonna go home only with 1 sale but just before I could knock off I got a call from a client asking for activation of his insurance as he was taking delivery of a car at the dealership but now the challenge was that the client was going to be in a flight for almost an hour and now I had to wait till the client could talk to me at about 7:30pm as per his request, morale of the story patience is virtue, because my knock off time was 4.30 but I was patient enough to get what I want. I learned to sell different Multiple Insurance Products for different insurance companies. I learnt how important is to comply with TCF outcomes. the management style is good there is a team leader for a team of about 4-6 members which makes easier for us to get through to the manager. and there is a line manager. the hardest part of the job is the fact we dont get the same kind of treatment which is demoralising. The most enjoyable part is that we get accolades if you work hard.
trips to adventurous places
Policies cant be amended ( change of start date on the policy)
Good bank to work for Work culture is acceptable, there is respect of different culture. Diversity Managers respect subordinates I enjoyed working at this bank because the staff is treated fairly with respect. We had a good communication level. I.E bottom to top and top to bottom
we mostly dealt with sales, customer service and referring products to other departments , what i have learned in my time there is that you develop a love for sales and interacting with people in the banking industry and helping clients with their banking needs
meeting different people
