Very good place to work at.Best upskilling. My previous job working as Consultant provide me with the ideal experience for this position. I developed many of the skills required for this job including answering phones ,responding to emails, processing payments and entering data on multiple computer programs.Processing special pay items which is not processed in the same manner as a regular payroll run.I am a self motivated person who is willing to go above and beyond on any project and to learn valuable skills. My strongest asset is my work ethic and my willingness to step in when needed.I'm not afraid to take a difficult client or do a difficult project as it is the best to teach me the most.Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures. Manage lifecycle of an employee from end to end.Upskilling different Human Resources Business Partners on the self service portal (ESS)Keeping track of all the queries via team track.Capture and process transactional documents. Maintenance of personal record folders.
Standard Bank is a fun place to work for however they do not engage with staff personally before they can make decisions .
Standard Bank is a nice company to work for however staff engagement lacks .They do not care how you do your job as long as its done .They want results .They give you a lot work that can be done by 2 people and pay a minimal salary .
We had to work, and have fun at the workplace at the same time. that motivated the staff to perform to their utmost. every employee very focused because it was a fraud department , dealing with peoples money. that taught me to focus more and always e vigilant. best part of the job was calling the client to tell them that you managed to save their money and get it back into their accounts
Go to the office to fetch your work, site visits, write report at each site, go home, hand in the reports the next day, Contact the clients and inform of the problems encountered on site, make appointment for the client and builder to come to the office or meet on site to find a solution.
Control your own time
Have to complete the days tasks
Working at Standard Bank has grown me as an individual. Dealing with Executives who have certain standards of doing things and learning how to deal with them has grown me an individual. A fast-paced environment where change constantly takes place and you have to adapt fast. A typical day at work is never the same as each day presents a different challenge. But ultimately, i am passionate about what i do and i love the energy and challenges that came my way.

The emphasis was on service delivery and teamwork. The position I held, as Service Head, carried a lot of responsibility but I enjoyed every moment. The majority of my day was spent interfacing with customers to ensure excellent service delivery. I ran weekly sessions with the entire branch staff to motivate and educate them on banking matters.
Well i easily adjusted to the work pace and atmosphere. What i thought was difficult from a distance was actual fun to do and with a good team
