Very good company to work at but you can only start to do parcels after 3 months has gone by. Typical day would consist off picking parcels up and doing food oders during your trip to deliver your parcels and management keeps you updated if you show offline on the Takealot driver app and you can buy a car through them after 6months.

A Lot of politics in the workplace . you will Know by your Step in ... whether or not you are:: Favorable for a promotion. The higher-ups do the Least work . Don't even hav to be an Example to others

I learnt a lot but will never go back.

No growth, a lot of learning experiences but no growth. Hardest part of the job is knowing you worked hard for very little money and 0 recognition.Go for the learning experience but do not stay too long.


Sometimes you meet nice people.

It's a good to place to work but they jave poor management but their culture it's ok and there's a room to grow and learn more about warehouse.

Their promotion is not fair for other but some they do get a promotion and not fair on working hours coz if there is no work they don't schedule you and no work no pay, or they can schedule you to work everyday without an off working long hours

Toxic work environment

Working long hours with no growth and development. You have to fight you're way up and hardwork is not recognized unless you are a favorite. Poor management and work place bullying is too much

No medical aid, R200 salary increase, low salary

Permanent employees dont get medical aid, the salary is low but longer working hours, too much pressure, bad management and Petty leaders. no bonuses and very little incentive. NO GROWTH

Most hectic all day long. Teaches how to work under pressure. Good managent. All people believe in hardworking and good team spirit. This job denies you access to lunch time but its enjoyable since it keeps you busy every time.

Dealing with customers is very challenging but at the end of the day you grasp a lot withing those customers. Experience I had with them is very interesting.

Great company but NOT for customer service

1. Typical shift work, but low salary, below minimum wage 2. A clear division and discrimination against other employees and customer service employees i.e. Customer Service employees are underfunded and use old equipment whereas the other employees use state of art equipment. 3. No benefits to customer service employees, but the other employees do have.4. Takealot Management is not accessible but you do have Team Leaders and stand ins for customer service which are incompetent.5. Growth within customer service is possible but access to the other part of the business( engineering, marketing, logistics) is restricted hence the discrimination.All in all great company , great working environment, as long as you are not in customer service.

Lot of pressure , there’s no growth you won’t get recognized for your hard work you have to be their favorite to be recognized even if you don’t work a lot If they love you you can grow there

Managers have favorites within the department I was in. No incentives at all even if you 100% on all your metrics. Salary is so little yet the company is massive

Terrible Management

Management was terrible and showed a severe lack of understanding of the tools required to do the job efficiently and effectively. There was an expectation of overtime almost everyday which left very little time for anything else for weeks at a time.
